"Ray of Sunshine”

Kevin Siefering has been singing and playing guitar in the southwest Twin Cities metro area for more than 20 years, mostly as a worship team leader at Living Christ Lutheran Church in Chanhassen. He started singing in nursing homes and assisted living centers as a Christian community service ministry and this ministry grew into “Ray of Sunshine”. This name emphasizes Kevin’s mission: Bringing people joy through hearing and singing the songs that they love.

Kevin plays 6 and 12 string guitars and provides his own sound system as needed. He enjoys performing a wide variety of genres of music in many different settings. He also regularly provides DJ services for dances and community events.

Kevin enjoys providing background music for private parties and wedding receptions and for coffee shop, restaurant or bar/brewery type audiences. The repertoire for such events typically includes pop, rock and country songs from the 70’s (plus or minus a decade or so!), with a few more modern songs thrown in. Kevin also can perform a complete show of favorite Christmas songs, carols and hymns. Kevin regularly performs a wide repertoire of Christian contemporary hits for audiences that enjoy this genre.

Kevin can also set up his sound system and help you operate it for wedding receptions or parties. Kevin can DJ/VJ if you like, or you can use his system to play any playlist from your phone, computer or tablet. Microphones are provided for your announcements, DJ use, or karaoke singing!

Your People are the stars of the Show!

Kevin sets up his professional sound system and uses your projector or big screen TV to get your folks singing and hamming it up to their favorite songs. Lyrics are shown on the screen so performers can either sing along with the stars or wow the audience with true karaoke. Two microphones are provided for duets. This is mixed with fun and easy line dances, like the Cowboy Hustle, Electric Slide, YMCA and even the Hokey Pokey! Kevin will get your folks out on the dance floor having a blast!
